We're excited to reintroduce this project back into the rotation! Back in 2010, we had the privilege to create the visual and product design systems for Microsoft's innovative, future thinking, Envisioning team. We were tasked to help take Microsft Office assets to the next level and show how those products work across various platforms, interconnected and integrating new technology that will help advance our everyday lives. The Envisioning team's focus was to explore and develop concepts of what that future could look like. We set the stage by first establishing a flat user interface design language that would carry through to all digital products. At the time this project was created interface design was skeuomorphic, so introducing a flat design system was very innovative. We like to believe we helped initiate that movement to flat user interface design, which is now ubiquitous among all digital devices and platforms today.

Microsoft uses these videos to provide inspiration to both internal teams and external partners. The year this was created it was presented in front of 40,000+ employees at Microsoft's annual 'All Hands' meeting along with receiving over 5 million views on Microsoft's YouTube channel. Numerous products were shipped by Microsoft as a result of the concepts we explored in this video. This was one of the most creative and exciting projects we've worked on, and we're proud it still holds up a decade after it's inception.
